Tell us (and FDA) about important evidence!

The PharmGKB recently introduced a section devoted to clinical pharmacogenomics, which summarizes current FDA language about genetic testing associated with the use of drugs. This is the product of PharmGKB and has no official relation to FDA policy. We are also interested in gathering information from the pharmacogenomics research community about emerging opportunities for changing clinical care using genetics--in particular evidnece that may support relabel of drugs. We are happy to gather together recommendations from our users, and then try to present them to the FDA for consideration. If you think that there is a strong corpus of evidence supporting the use of genetics in prescribing a drug that is not currently recognized, let us know! We are building tools to do this automatically, but for now human experts are the best source.
